Of all the spontaneous and extravagant places I've ever been, Costa Rica
topped the charts in so many ways. This is before I even had a video
camera, so I borrowed my parents simple still camera to take film stills
and a thick empty journal to write down the journey and my impressions
of it. Flying into San Jose airport I was Immediately impressed with the
modest living and surroundings. my travel companion, Bryan, and I
drove through the muddy yet dusty, bumpy roads and stumbled upon the
most amazing sunset I'd ever seen. The sun bounced different colored
light off the clouds which were beneath us and drifting very close by. 
We met up with a local tour guide and suddenly we were off to hike Mount Verde the next morning. This is the rain forest. I'd never seen so much exotic wildlife and vegetation. It was almost like another planet. You can see it all when zip-lining through the Mountains.
